My machine is an HP 9470m bought in 2013 with Windows-7. However, last week, after having this problem for over a year, MS must have sent an update to Windows 10 (or the Drivers) because the problem has now gone away (touch wood). This does not permanently fix the DNS problem as it will recur after three or four start ups of my computer. Even then, I have to manualy connect to the internet each time. Only sure fire way to get around this DNS Probe issue is to restart Windows 10. Works for a few times then fails to connect again.
I tried most of the other suggestions you made.Ĭhanging the settings was one of the first things I tried. This method does not work properly for me.
